EFFECTIVE NOVEMBER 9th, 2020 - The main floor of the Peace River Shell Rotary House will reopen.

Your home away from home...
When you need to be close to your loved ones that are in the Peace River Community Health Center - we have a home for you - people can use our facility for any number of reasons.
Family member in hospital and you are visiting from out of town.
Discharge instructions require you to stay close to the hospital.
You have an early or late procedure with a specialist.
ROOMS
There are 2 queen size beds, linens, dresser, night stand, iron and iron board, Telus satellite TV and Free Wi-Fi
BATHROOMS
Each room has a full bathroom with towels, hand towels, face cloths and a hair dryer.
SHARED DINING AREA
is furnished with 3 tables and 9 chairs
COMMON SEATING AREA
has 2 couches, 6 chairs that are situated in front of a gas fireplace and television
KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS ROOM
provides a private area with a phone for people and families to talk.
LAUNDRY ROOM
contains both a washer and a dryer with soap and fabric softener provided

Where it started...
In 2012, in celebration of its 60th Anniversary of service to the Community, Peace River Rotary Club envisioned this as a “home away from home”.
´The Club identified a strong need in the region for a dedicated facility that could provide cost effective, temporary accommodations for family members travelling long distances to be near those seriously ill or receiving medical care at the Peace River Health Center.
´Peace River Rotary House will also serve as a secure and available temporary accommodations for medical professionals, physicians and visiting specialists.
